Leatha Mitchell provided editorial and creative writing services for the College for over 32 years. While a member of my staff, she worked on a variety of projects including fund-raising letters, speeches, accreditation reports, brochures, newsletters, articles, proposals, the award-winning student magazine "Howard Engineer" and other assignments. She often worked with minimal direction and produced outstanding products. She did a creditable and meritorious job in producing a wide range of materials and assisting other staff members with their editorial needs. I highly recommend her services.

For the past twenty years, I have used the editing services of Leatha Mitchell for more than $100M worth of funded proposals. Her services have been an invaluable asset to my work as a professor and as a consultant to numerous universities and non-profit organizations. I have also referred her to a number of my friends. Most recently, she edited the master’s thesis of one of my graduate students on optical phenomena and nanotechnology. Ms. Mitchell is a consummate professional and she is the best technical editor that any one would ever want to work with. I heartily recommend her services without reservations.
